Livebookings was announced as one of the Top 100 Red Herring Global businesses for 2011; a prestigious list honouring the year’s most promising private technology companies from across Europe, Asia and North America.
The Red Herring Global editorial team selected the most innovative companies from hundreds of candidates, with the nominees being evaluated on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy, and integration into their respective industries.
Christopher Persson, President US operations, Livebookings comments; “We are delighted to be listed as one of the most innovative companies globally in the 2011 Red Herring Awards. The news comes at the end of a hugely exciting year for Livebookings with the launch of our new freemium service, Freebookings, in the US and continued growth across Europe.”
Livebookings was presented with the Top 100 Red Herring Europe Award 2011 in May of this year and was recently identified in the “Ones to Recognise” category of The Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 in November.
Persson was presented with the Top 100 Red Herring Global Award at a ceremony in Los Angeles on December 7.
